How'd you end up at Raptor?
Before Raptor, I was managing four siding teams at another construction company. I got connected to Raptor through some very old relationships, and once I got here, it just clicked. The right opportunity at the right time.
So a homeowner has a project with Raptor. What can they expect from you?
I change their overall outlook on what a roofer actually is. That's the goal from the moment I show up. Through my communication, body language, and expertise, I help homeowners feel completely at ease about their project or whatever situation they're dealing with. A lot of people have a certain expectation of what this industry is like, and I take pride in flipping that on its head. Start to finish, you're going to feel taken care of.
What do you want every homeowner to walk away saying about you?
"Taylor really cares a lot about roofing, but even more about his customers." That's it. If they feel that, I've done my job.
What's the part of this job that really gets you fired up?
I personally enjoy collecting large balances from what some might call "problem clients." It gives me a real sense of purpose. I look at it as providing closure for the customer and moving the company forward a little bit at a time. Those tough ones that nobody wants to deal with? That's where I thrive.
On your day off you're ___?
Doing something with my two boys to drain their energy. That's a full time job in itself.
If you weren't in roofing?
Day trading. I'd be glued to the charts all day.
Walk-up song?
"Steady Mobbin" by Lil Wayne. Sets the mood right.
