How'd you end up at Raptor?
I've always been in the construction industry. I served in the Army, and once I got out, I went straight into construction. I had worked with Curtis before, and when he reached out about Raptor, I already knew his reputation and the reputation of this company. It felt like a great fit from the jump, and honestly, it's been a blessing.
So a homeowner books an appointment and you pull up. What happens next?
I show up prepared. That's the first thing. From there, I listen to the homeowner's concerns, really hear them out, and then clearly explain their options so we can find the right solution together. No overcomplicating it, no talking over your head. Just a straight conversation about what's going on and what makes sense for you.
What do you want every homeowner to walk away saying about you?
That I was prepared, knowledgeable, and gave them confidence and peace of mind about their project. If you feel good about the process and trust the person handling your roof, that's everything.
What's the part of this job that really gets you fired up?
Helping a homeowner get a full roof replacement approved through insurance and seeing the relief it brings them. That moment when someone realizes they're covered and they're getting what they need? That's the best part of this job. It never gets old watching that weight come off someone's shoulders.
On your day off you're ___?
With family and friends, cooking, entertaining, or out riding my Harley and enjoying the open road. I like to keep it full.
If you weren't in roofing?
I'd probably still be in sales somewhere, working with materials and helping customers find the right solutions. Helping people figure out what they need has always been my thing.
Walk-up song?
"The Humpty Dance" by Digital Underground. If you know, you know.
