How'd you end up at Raptor?
Before Raptor, I spent several years in the PEO world working in client relations and specializing in employee benefits. I was ready to take everything I'd learned and apply it to a growing company where I could make a real impact. Raptor was the perfect fit for that.
What's your role at Raptor and how does it impact the homeowner experience?
I help ensure everything runs smoothly on the financial and operational side. From invoicing to insurance payment processing, when those details are handled well, it creates transparency for homeowners and allows our team to stay focused on delivering great work. If the behind the scenes stuff isn't tight, the customer feels it. My job is to make sure they never have to.
What's something about the behind the scenes of a roofing company that would surprise most people?
How many financial moving parts are involved in a single roof replacement. It's not just installation. It's tracking budgets, managing timelines, processing payments, and ensuring everything balances out accurately. Most people have no idea how much goes into it before and after the shingles go on.
What's one thing about working at Raptor that's different from anywhere else you've worked?
How genuine everyone is. People truly care about each other and are committed to doing the right thing for every homeowner. That's not something you find everywhere, and you can feel it the moment you walk in the door.
On your day off you're ___?
Spending time with my family and most likely planning our next trip. There's always a next trip.
If you weren't doing this?
I'd be supporting another growing company and helping things run smoothly financially and operationally. It's what I do. I just happened to find the best team to do it with.
