How'd you end up at Raptor?
Before roofing, I was a full time DJ. I've always been passionate about creating memories with music and making any event unforgettable. I joined Raptor because I saw an opportunity to be part of a team that genuinely cares, holds each other accountable, and does the job the right way. That combination is hard to find, and I wasn't going to pass it up.
So a homeowner has a project day coming up. What can they expect from you on site?
Whether I'm dropping off materials or managing a crew on site, the first thing I do is introduce myself and let the homeowner know I'm there for them. If they have questions or concerns at any point, I'm the guy to come to. My job is to make sure everything runs smoothly so you don't have to worry about a thing.
What do you want every homeowner to walk away saying about you?
"He went above and beyond the expectations we had." That's the bar. Every single time.
What's the part of this job that really gets you fired up?
One project that stood out to me involved a homeowner who had struggled with communication during the process. They were respectful and patient, but it reinforced something important for me. Clarity and follow through really matter. Roofing isn't just about shingles. It's about protecting someone's home and reducing stress during what can be a major investment. That experience reminded me why the little things make all the difference.
On your day off you're ___?
Spending time with my wife, Samantha, and our daughters, Emma and Naomi. I also stay disciplined with running and strength training. Family and fitness keep me grounded.
If you weren't in roofing?
DJ'ing full time. It's been a passion of mine since I was 13 and it never gets old. Or honestly, on some beach somewhere. Either way, I'd be happy.
