How'd you end up at Raptor?
Before Raptor, I spent several years working in logistics. That's actually where I met our owner Cameron. We worked together in that world, so when he brought me on to the Raptor team, it just made sense. We already had that trust and working relationship built, and I was ready for something new.
So a homeowner's got a project with Raptor. What can they expect from you?
Over the top communication. That's the big one. From the moment we're on your project, you're going to know what's happening and when. Beyond that, you can expect us to treat your property like it's our own, a professional install from start to finish, and a true 5-star experience. That's the standard, not the exception.
What do you want a homeowner to say about you after the job's done?
That we had great communication, that we made a real difference, and that it was the best customer experience they've ever had. If they're saying all three of those things, I know we did our job right.
What's the part of this job that really gets you fired up?
One job that always stands out to me is Mike Kuar's project. His wife actually made lunch for our entire crew while we were working. That moment stuck with me. It was a reminder that the people we're doing this for are genuinely kind, and they appreciate what we do. That's the stuff that keeps you going.
On your day off you're ___?
With my family, and if the weather's good, we're outside. Doesn't really matter what we're doing as long as we're out of the house and together.
If you weren't in roofing?
I'd be producing short films and creative projects. That's always been a passion of mine.
